Caricaturists Caricature Jam

There is a pretty sweet forum out there called the DrawingBoard.org that has some great art from some pretty great established and up and coming artists. One of the forums has a jam of caricaturists drawing other caricaturists.....I wanted to share my submission of an artist called Derek Edwards. Check the site out!

This piece is a vector image done for a sign for a tattoo shop. I really liked the wat it turned out abd decided to post it.

This piece was done for my Schoolism "Art of Caricature" final project. It was a fun assignment (which is good because it took me a looooong time to complete). Here we have James Hetfield of Metallica performing in front of a class of school children. The little girl in the scene is the daughter of a good friend of mine.

This painting was done for the beautiful MMA fighter Gina Carano. This piece was done for her for all her work with the "Make A Wish Foundation". I was honored to do this piece.

This piece was done as my assignment for Jason Seiler's "Art of Caricature" class through Schoolism.com. We were to do a caricature and paint it using tonal values. Overall, I am pretty happy with this.
